Dr Dhananjay Kelkar
Patient is the focus of all we do. We believe in the “Chain of Survival”. A patient must receive appropriate care in the pre hospital sector, emergency department and subsequently in critical care unit to get good outcomes.
Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and Research Centre (DMH) has done pioneering work in development of “Dial 108” Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for the State of Maharashtra. DMH has also set up a state of the art Emergency Room [ER] and ICU for high quality patient care. Our Critical care and Emergency Medicine Department boasts of not only good infrastructure and support staff but also high academic standards.
The concept of conference based exclusively on guidelines was conceived in 2008 when we launched GUIDELINES2008 and continued with GUIDELINES2009. We received an overwhelming response to it from all over India .
GUIDELINES2017 will be an academic feast for the doctors and trainees interested in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine. There will be clear take home message at the end of each lecture, which will improve the way we practice.
Pune is known as the “Cultural capital of Maharashtra” and “Oxford of the East”. The month of January is extremely welcoming in the future “Smart City” of Pune. We look forward to hosting you in this academic extravaganza.
